The One About Headaches

It's been a rough week in the Traveling Marshalls household. Besides the fact that we made a huge mistake in deciding to change our internet provider, a black cat now lives in our front yard, and has brought a whole week of bad luck, to include lost mail, bad blood tests, anger management, spoiled fruit.

This picture sums up our feelings on this week.

Things haven't been so easy for Potato this week. He got a couple shots which made him extremely cranky.  Couple that with a mom that wanted to start a "reign of terror" (read: discipline) and was simultaneously suffering from some sort of evil stomach bug and you have one unhappy little boy.

We thought we were in the clear with his vomiting, only to have it come back in full force a few days after we had all but rented the balloons and stripper for the "No Vomiting" party.

I yelled at our home nurse because she refused to listen to what we asked her to do and instead called the doctor behind our backs.  There were a few days of anger before I just gave up the fight.

So, with all of this stress around our house, Potato has been quite grumpy and fussy, making both his parents extremely tired and frustrated.

Today, he is wearing a jumper that says "Monsters need hugs too."  Very fitting for this week.  Very fitting indeed.
