Remembering....

February 23, 2010 |
Tonight, one year ago, I was sitting in my hospital bed in my own clothes, thinking that I was in for the long haul.   Little did I know that within five hours, I would deliver our baby.

I am also thankful to so many people who supported us from here and afar. And it is virtually impossible to thank all of them in the manner in which they deserve to be thanked....with banquets, crystal awards, great debts of gratitude.

They know who they are.  Some are the silent heroes, others more outspoken. Without them, Potato would have never gone from this:

To this:

We thank you for the bottom of our hearts for doing everything possible to make sure Potato had the best first year possible.  We could not have done it without you.

One year ago tonight (or tomorrow morning) Dad Frank called to tell me I was a grandmother. It was a wonderful new title for me and one that I adore. Happy Birthday little Aidan and Marshall family. I love you all.

I'm so thrilled you made it one year. My sister had the same experience and unfortunately her little girl did not make it. I am always so happy to hear such a success story!!

Just read your wonderful article on Lady Bloggers. Great job!!
